My name is Shih Yu (she-you), meaning "poetic words." I have a soft spot for storytelling.

From Taiwan to LA and SF, baking has helped me navigate the Asian diaspora and search for fragments of home. My desserts are rooted in cultural identity, reimagining "fond flavors" and leaving an aftertaste of nostalgia.
